Caitlin Clark Marks Her Teammate’s Big Day With an Important Message

Caitlin Clark knows how important it is to be by her teammates' side, and off the court.
This time, she sent a special message to teammate Aaliyah Boston on Instagram.
On December 11, the Indiana Fever sensation took to Instagram to celebrate Boston’s birthday. She posted two photos of them together, one in color and one in black and white, from the bench. Then, she added a heartfelt message with a hint of something more.

"Happy Bday!!!!! Love you @aliyah.boston," Clark wrote, adding, "excited to be back out there w ya."
And without wasting a minute, Boston replied. She reposted Clark’s story with her own caption: "My sister. Love you so much!! See you soon. Missed you."
Clark was likely talking about the reunion at the Team USA training camp. The two teammates are among the 18 players alongside Paige Bueckers, Angel Reese, and others participating in the FIBA Women’s World Cup 2026 training camp held from December in Durham, North Carolina.
Clark is working toward her comeback from the muscle injuries that ended her season early.
Boston, meanwhile, arrives after an impressive year. She averaged 15 points and 8.2 rebounds across 44 games, helped lead Indiana to the WNBA semifinals, earned her third consecutive All-Star appearance, and was selected to both the All-WNBA Second Team and the All-WNBA Second Defensive Team.
But amidst uncertainty about the Indiana squad, will Caitlin Clark play with Boston?
Clark and Boston have become extremely close, and their chemistry is obvious on the court. As CC said it best during her interview with David Letterman on Season 5 of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction,
"Aliyah Boston has been great to play with… Your point guard–post combination, that's important. I think our chemistry grew so much over the course of the year, and it only will continue to grow."
Imagining the Indiana Fever without both of them would be a lot to ask. Fortunately for Indy fans, both CC and Boston are still on their rookie contracts. The rest of the roster faces major changes, with nearly everyone except three players entering free agency, including names like Lexie Hull, Sophie Cunningham, and Kelsey Mitchell. Now, Indy’s future depends on the new CBA.
