Caitlin Clark Leads Indiana Fever’s Festive Elf-Themed Reveal

Dec 25, 2025, 1:30 PM CUT

Even after a season slowed by injuries, Caitlin Clark’s pull hasn’t faded one bit. Last Christmas, she owned the moment. AP Female Athlete of the Year. Fans flooding social media with unboxing videos. Jerseys, Fever tickets, anything with her name on it.

This holiday season, she was back in the middle of it again. This time with a little humor.

The Indiana Fever dropped a festive post on social media, showing Clark, Sophie Cunningham, and the rest of the team dressed up as Christmas elves. The caption said it all: “caught some elves.”

Here’s how Caitlin Clark’s Team gave each player their moment

Sophie Cunningham’s elf came with a silly joke on her nickname. “Soph on a loaf,” read the caption as Cunningham's elf sat on a loaf of bread. However, it did have meaning behind it.

During her 2025 MCL rehab, Cunningham found out she had sensitivities to just about everything she loves: dairy, gluten, beef, pork, rice, and even pineapple. Brutal news for someone who proudly eats cheese “for fun.”

She laughed it off, joking that she’d have to eat like a rabbit or somehow turn into a Victoria’s Secret model like Angel Reese. Of course, the diet didn’t hold perfectly. A late-night pizza still happened. And yeah the stomach paid for it.

Aliyah Boston kept it clean. Her elf was baking, stamped with “Boston Makin’ Frostin’ Cookies.” It fit her perfectly. Boston has been Indiana’s steady presence from day one. She just shows up, does the work, and leads. Even her elf kept it simple.

Kelsey Mitchell leaned into the magic. Her elf was caught casting spells. It tracked. In her eighth pro season, Mitchell put together one of the best years in Fever history. As the longest-tenured player on the roster, she’s lived through every version of this team. When Indiana talked about resilience in 2025, Mitchell was right in the middle of it.

Then there was Caitlin Clark. Her elf sat on a basketball at center court: “Clark on her Mark.” She came back strong after injury, scoring 32 points with nine assists and seven threes against the Liberty on June 14. Multiple soft-tissue injuries ended her season on September 4. Still, she finished 2025 as the most-collected active player in PSA’s rankings, with a projected economic impact of nearly a billion dollars. Iowa retired her No. 22. Elf or not, her pull remains.

Aari McDonald kept it quick. Her elf sat on a milk bottle. “Aari on Dairy.” No explanation needed. Just a clean visual and a quick laugh.

Lexie Hull may have had the boldest setup. Her elf was sitting on a bull. “Hull on a Bull.” Say less. Hull replaced an injured Clark in the 2025 All-Star 3-point contest and shot 46.8 percent from deep that season. She came up with a game-winning steal, got the coach’s hug in the playoffs, and later signed with Unrivaled’s Rose BC for its 2025 debut.

It was just a holiday post. But it worked because every elf told a real story.
