Caitlin Clark Lands Top Spot in WNBA NFL Draft Showdown

Feb 3, 2026, 5:00 AM CUT

Caitlin Clark was a special contributor on Sunday night at NBC’s debut broadcast. But that’s not all. She’s a long-time NFL girlie too.

Just days ago one of her NFL practice video went viral. She was caught throwing darts with a football, nailing perfect shots. That arm strength put her right in the mix for a top spot in a fun NFL draft talk with WNBA stars.

On the Post Moves podcast, Candace Parker and Aliyah Boston teamed up to build the ultimate NFL team using WNBA players. Including both past or present players. Parker couldn’t forget Clark’s throw.

She began the draft pick by highlighting it. “Look at her arm. Look at her go. Okay, right on the money,” she said.  But for QB the most important position when the pick came Parker picked Diana Taurasi. “I'm going QB, Diana Taurasi. Period,” she said. Taurasi’s got three WNBA titles and over 10,000 career points, pure clutch.

But Boston jumped in for her Fever teammate: “I'm going QB, Caitlin Clark, I know you saw that arm”. Clark averaged 19.2 points and 8.4 assists as a rookie last year. And her deep range translates to bombs downfield.

But it didnt end there the picks continued for the Wide Receivers and Running Backs.

Parker went next: “Wide receiver, I'm going Kahleah Copper”. Copper led the league with 21.0 points per game in 2025, speed and hands for days.

Boston fired back: “I'm going wide receiver, Breanna Stewart. I think Stewie catches everything”. Stewart’s a two-time champ with 20.4 points and 8.6 rebounds last season.

For running back, Parker kept it simple. “Running back, I'm going Rhyne Howard. You just have to run, right? It’s like Saquon Barkley... you gotta find the holes.

Boston stayed loyal again to her teammate.: “I'm going Kelsey Mitchell. She’ll figure it out... Kelsey Mitchell, that’s a good one”. Mitchell’s 18.9 points per game shows her burst.

But the real debate took turns when it was the last pick both ended up debating about. Any guesses?

Alyssa Thomas Rules Tight End

The real debate hit tight end. Parker locked it in making the first pick. “Tight end. I already have my tight end. Alyssa Thomas... She can block. She can run through.

Nobody wants to get in front of her”. Thomas owned the WNBA in 2025. She averaged 10.6 points, 8.8 rebounds, 7.9 assists per game, nearly triple-doubles every night, powering the Sun to the Finals.

In Unrivaled’s early 2026 3x3 games, she’s posted double-doubles like 12 points and 10 boards, bullying defenders with her 6’2” frame and vision. And also making it perfect for blocking or holding in passes.

Boston had nothing better either. She went for the same pick as well. “I don't know if I even have one to match that” . They agreed fast. “Can we use the same tight end? Yeah... She’s the tight end, like 100%. Regardless,” Parker said.

This fun draft shows off WNBA stars’ crazy skills. Clark’s arm shines, but Thomas steals it. Pure hoops-to-gridiron gold that had us all laughing and nodding.
