Caitlin Clark Teases Physical Transformation for Next WNBA Season

Dec 25, 2025, 5:33 AM CUT

Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark’s physical appearance was one of the biggest storylines of 2024. She broke records and quickly became one of the league’s brightest stars. But with that came tough, physical defense every game. Fans often worried if her body could handle the constant contact and pressure.

Clark’s 2025 season didn’t go exactly as planned. Injuries kept her out for long stretches, and she only played 13 games. But even when she wasn’t on the court, people were still talking about her. Her appearance at USA Basketball’s training camp in Durham kept her in the spotlight.

The offseason has shown different sides of Clark, and on December 24, fans saw another. CC dropped by the Avant Salon in West Des Moines, and they couldn't help but post about it.

"All I want for Christmas is hair like CC,” they wrote. The post showed off Caitlin Clark with long hair, and fans loved it. Clark herself confirmed this would be her look for a while. “Long hair 2026,” she wrote.

And talking about 2026, Catilin Clark seems ready to come back stronger after her groin injury. On November 1, Nike posted a promo featuring CC, which showed her lifting, running, and working hard on the court, and showed off the work she's been putting into training and rehab.

It was yet another example of how relevant Clark remains despite being on the sidelines for most of the 2025 season.

Caitlin Clark’s Popularity Remains Sky-High

Even with a long stretch on the sidelines, Caitlin Clark’s global popularity hasn’t dipped. At just 23, her trading card is one of the most sought-after in both the WNBA and NBA. Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA) graded over 136,700 of her cards, checking their condition before authentication.

Basketball Reference’s annual map showed Clark was the most-searched WNBA player in 41 out of 50 states. And Caitlin Clark is ready to repay the fans for all their love.

During Team USA’s training camp, she looked sharp in a 5-on-5 scrimmage with 17 of the nation’s top players. “I’ve worked so hard,” she said. “I haven’t taken a break since the beginning of the WNBA season, just with all of my rehab and getting back to where I want to be and getting even better.”

If fans were worried, Clark’s return promises she’ll be better than ever.
