Caitlin Clark Gets Honest on Major Offseason Experience With Sophie Cunningham, Lexie Hull

"When she's not on the court, she's on the course" is what the official WNBA Instagram account captioned a quick Q&A with Caitlin Clark during a short break from her USA Basketball training camp.
That is enough to sum up CC's love for multiple sports and especially her newfound love for golf. But what if she has to choose between a 30-foot putt or a 30-footer buzzer beater?

The More Stressful Swing
For a lot of the offseason, Caitlin Clark was seen swapping hardwood with green at golf courses, as she made her second appearance at the Annika Pro-Am with Nelly Korda. Caitlin received support from crowds at the LPGA, just like she does at the W.
So when the WNBA threw the question at her to choose between a 30-foot putt and a 30-footer at the buzzer, she didn't spend a minute thinking. “Anything golf-related is way more stressful than basketball. It’s not even close.”
Surely we need no proof of this, as one of Clark's mishits went straight into the crowd. However, the Indiana Fever star's charisma still kept everything in good spirits.

The Très Lèches Caddies
Caitlin was not the only basketball star at the LPGA. Her friends and Indiana teammates Lexie Hull and Sophie Cunningham stood out as loyal caddies. At least they tried, but Clark wasn't too impressed.
Speaking about who helped her the most, Clark said hilariously, “Neither of them. They were both terrible, but they were good vibes, and that’s all that matters. They brought good vibes, but like they don’t know anything about golf”.
Clark, while mistiming some shots, does know a thing or two about golf.
Team USA Golf Group
While Clark's skill at golf is not hidden anymore, there might be some on Team USA who could give Clark some competition. When asked who the best golfer there was, she said, "I don't know if any of them golf honestly". She took a look back to see her teammates and locked eyes with Aliyah Boston. "Not Aliyah Boston obviously", Caitlin said while rolling her eyes, "but we'll get them all out to a golf course, and we'll see".

Favorite Offseason Activity
While her affection for golf is undeniable, her favorite thing she's done this offseason was not golf, but "just getting back to playing basketball- "I didn't get to play last year. So played a few games. But just being on the court having fun a smiling ".
Whether it's on a golf course or a hardwood floor, it's important to have fun, and Caitlin’s doing exactly that while preparing for Team USA.
