Caitlin Clark Extends Unexpected Courtside Offer

Caitlin Clark's name keeps coming up everywhere. Even in the middle of college football hype.
Indiana Hoosiers player Elijah Sarratt just moved to Bloomington and named his American Bully pup "CC". Fans got all crazy, and some even gave a side-eye when he spilled it in a media session ahead of the Hoosiers' playoff run. But now Clark's flipping the script with an unexpected open invite.
Yesterday, amid the buzz, Clark dropped an Instagram story. And that stole the show. She reposted Sarratt's adorable pic of "CC the queen of cuteness" along with Sarratt and captioned it, "Both are welcome courtside this year."
And this is like some way of bridging the Big Ten divide with some serious charm.
But all this kicked off 4 days back.
When Sarratt casually revealed the dog's name during his January 17 interview, he said, "CC—they may not like it, but she's named after Caitlin Clark." He grinned, knowing Indiana hoops fans still sting from her Hawkeyes days.
It was Clark who put the Hoosiers 6-3 in college. Also including her last three wins and a 2022 Big Ten tourney title run. But she had already responded sweetly on TikTok to this interview.
"Big Indiana fan Monday night" and "Hope he scores 3 TDs Monday night." But she didnt stop there and went with the open invitation.
Now she's loving life with the Fever in Indy during her offseason. Heading into year three of her rookie deal, she even wished the Hoosiers for their national title clash.
Clark Wishes Hoosiers Football Luck
Caitlin Clark put an old college basketball rivalry to rest with a classy good-luck message for Indiana football ahead of its Monday night game. It is the national championship against Miami.
“Best of luck to @IndianaFootball,” she wrote on X. “We are all pulling for you !! Get it done.”
Back in her Iowa days, Clark owned the Hoosiers. She had 6-3 record, dropping 35+ points in multiple thrillers, including a 2024 upset that clinched Iowa's tourney spot while Indiana fans watched in agony
Now she's cheering their football squad. Which shows Clark's not letting a little puppy-name drama or any past rivalries rain on the Hoosiers' parade.
