Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark's cultural influence keeps on increasing, as she passes down her life's knowledge in the form of a book for the younger generation. And she recently came clean on what fueled her to take this path.

Random House Books for Young Readers announced on April 28 that the WNBA star's book, EXTRAordinary! A Little EXTRA to Reach BIG Dreams will be published on Nov. 3. In rhyming verse, Clark shared a message about the importance of effort and support, along with detailing her vision behind the book.

"Basketball has given me so many incredible opportunities, but what has always meant the most to me are the people who've supported me along the way," CC said in a statement. "I hope this book reminds kids that they're never alone in chasing their dreams and that giving a little extra to the people and moments is what makes them EXTRAordinary."

London-based Romanian artist Adriana Predoi illustrated the picture book.

Clark's inspiration to launch the book came from an inscription that hung above the mirror of her childhood bedroom in Iowa that read “The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is the little EXTRA.”

Clark's roots in Iowa have led her to become one of the greatest women's basketball players the sport has ever seen, and she is still just 24 years old.

She first rose to fame playing for Dowling Catholic before bursting onto the scene with the Iowa Hawkeyes.

After four years with Iowa, CC joined the Indiana Fever as the No.1 overall draft pick in 2024. She did not stop her momentum even once, becoming the Rookie of the Year after averaging 19.2 points, 8.2 assists, and 5.4 rebounds per game.

While injuries led her to play only 13 games in her sophomore year, CC enjoyed a healthy offseason where she won the MVP title in the FIBA WCQ, and recently played her first game in Indiana colours since last July.

Meanwhile, her decision to use a book is not the first time she has used a paper-based material to highlight her moments, previously using cardboard.

Caitlin Clark Partnered Up with Panini America for "Caitlin Clark Chronicled"

CC and Panini took a unique take on card collecting by launching "Caitlin Clark Chronicled," a 22-page recap of Clark's time on and off the court during her first two seasons in the WNBA.

The set includes 32 randomly inserted trading cards, offering a chance to receive exclusive “parallel” cards and even autographed cards from the 24-year-old herself.

"I'm excited to launch 'Caitlin Clark Chronicled' with Panini America and share some of my favorite moments on and off the court from my first two years in the WNBA," Clark said in a news release. "We wanted to create something different that combined great photography with trading cards, including some special exclusives."

The set launched last year on December 15, and almost instantly sold out among collectors.

CC's card market, in general, is increasingly getting higher in price. Her rookie year cards are the cream of the crop, selling like hot cakes to this day.

Her most expensive rookie card, the 2024 Panini Flawless Rookie Logowoman Patch Auto (1/1), sold for a mammoth $660,000, becoming the most expensive women's sports card of all time.

As Clark further grows in her career, her memorabilia market is expected to rise as well.

But apart from the high-value Caitlin Clark memorabilia, are you thinking of getting a copy of EXTRAordinary! A Little EXTRA to Reach BIG Dreams?
