Bam Adebayo delivered a historic performance on Tuesday night. With WNBA superstar A'ja Wilson watching from the sidelines, Adebayo made NBA history. He later credited her presence for the unforgettable game.

During the postgame press conference, the 4X MVP gave a perfect response when Adebayo gestured toward her while discussing how defences reacted to her.

“It didn’t really start getting crazy until I had to hunt for the basketball… you got four people guarding you. I’ve seen that before, obviously,” he said.

It all came as Adebayo delivered the game of his life. He erupted for 83 points, the second-most in a single game in NBA history, leading the Miami Heat to a 150–129 win over the Washington Wizards.

But the spotlight was shared by Wilson, too. She cheered him on from the sidelines. After the game, she posted the perfect reaction to her partner's performance.

“Welp, won’t have the highest career high in the house anymore, but at least it gives me something to go after,” she wrote. Wilson's presence clearly had an empowering effect.

After All, A’ja Wilson’s Superstar in Her Own Right.

Wilson is coming off a historic season. She delivered one of the most dominant runs in basketball history, leading the Las Vegas Aces to their third WNBA championship in four years.

And that wasn’t all. She became the first player in NBA or WNBA history to win league MVP, Finals MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, the scoring title, and a championship in the same season.

She became the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 5,000 career points and captured her fourth MVP before turning 30. This achievement placed her among legends like Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and LeBron James. So now, it seems like Adebayo is simply trying to keep up with his superstar girlfriend!
