Audi Crooks has been one of the pioneers behind the Iowa State Cyclones' victories this season, and her stats are enough to testify to this.

Crooks established herself as one of the most impressive players in the Big 12 Conference, averaging more points than minutes at one point in the season.

Currently, the junior is averaging 26.3 points per game (a career high and the best in the Big 12). Standing at 6'3, her ability to shoot efficiently has made her even more dangerous. She’s posting a career-high field goal percentage of 67.5%, ranking third in the country.

However, it doesn’t stop there. The 21-year-old is also averaging 7.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game, which showcases her overall prowess this season. Crooks is just 19 points shy of the 2,000 career points mark, which would place her among Iowa State’s all-time greats, like Bridget Carleton and Ashley Joens.

The 21-year-old set another milestone after her previous matchup. On January 24, she led her team to a 90-65 victory over Arizona, scoring 17 points.

However, the Cyclones are scheduled to take on Texas Tech next on January 28, and the challenge looks tougher given that the Tech are currently holding the third spot. Still, Crooks has something to boost her morale.

Audi Crooks Can Draw Motivation for Texas Tech Match From Her Previous Feat

It wouldn't be wrong to say that the Texas Tech are cruising in the current season of the 2026 Big 12 Conference. The side currently holds a remarkable 20-2 record, placing them in third on the league table.

However, regardless of Texas Tech's prowess this season, Crooks can draw motivation for the match from her performance against the Tech in the 2024-25 season. The two sides clashed on the court on January 14, 2025, where Crooks' Cyclones earned an impressive 71-58 victory.

Additionally, the then-20-year-old led her side to victory with a nearly double-double, recording 28 points and 9 rebounds. Considering the Tech's form this season, repeating the same task might be significantly difficult for Crooks and Co.
