After seizing the delicacy of a “sunshine double”, what are the chances of giving it a rest? Well, the recent update tells that the world will keep seeing Aryna Sabalenka have a go at it.

The top-seeded Belarusian took down Coco Gauff by 6–2, 4–6, 6–3 in the women's singles finals of the Miami Open on March 28, right after her Indian Wells victory. And following that, Sabalenka sat down to outline her plans outside of tennis.

“At 18, I thought that by 25 I'd have won everything and had a child”, she said recently. “I'm 27 now, and I'm still putting it off. I adore children, but for now, my priority remains my career. I want to see how far I can go before starting a family."

If having a total of 7 Grand Slams wasn’t enough, Sabalenka has now become only the 5^th woman in history to achieve a sunshine double. Though having a family is her goal, it has to wait 5 more years, because the winning streak isn’t over yet.

She wants to get the “most out of (her) career”, and might “try to come back” even after starting a family, given the situation. But for now, tennis remains the priority, despite her early March move.

Aryna Sabalenka Got Engaged Recently

If watched closely, someone might even spot the 12-carat diamond ring in Sabalenka’s finger, which was put there on March 3, at Indian Wells. But the upgradation of Georgios Frangulis from “boyfriend” to “fiancé” needed some pressure.

“I’m just putting some pressure, I mean, how long? Come on,” a widely grinning Sabalenka said in a postgame interview after her Brisbane International title win on January 11. “I think by now he should figure it out.”

And the Oakberry CEO did figure it out and shot his chance during her California showdown. He felt “super accomplished” to be engaged to the “love of (his) life.” And that time, the scoreboard didn’t really matter.

But ultimately, it did matter for Sabalenka, who wants to chase her career in the best way possible, while making the most out of it.
