Aryna Sabalenka Expands Off-Court Role with OneOff Investment

While Aryna Sabalenka is currently one of the highest-earning active tennis players, she has also built a life beyond the court through her investments.
She expanded her portfolio once again after joining forces with celebrities Shay Mitchell and Quavo to raise funding for the AI-driven fashion discovery app OneOff.
"Tennis and fashion are both really important to me. Whether I'm on court or off it, style is a big way I express myself. I get a lot of information from what I see online, but actually finding the pieces isn't always that easy. That's what I like about OneOff - it makes everything feel more simple and natural... I'm really excited to be involved, both with my profile and now as an investor, and to be part of something that's changing how people discover fashion." Sabalenka told Women's Wear Daily in a statement.
Founders Bobby Maylack and Emir Talu launched the app in October last year with the intention of it becoming the "Spotify of fashion." The platform has also partnered with retailers such as Bloomingdale's, Revolve, Net-a-Porter, and Ssense, enabling consumers to shop more than a million products in the app.
While Sabalenka, Quavo, and Mitchell join the app as verified profiles, other celebrities like Rob Lowe, Emma Roberts, Winnie Harlow, Kate Hudson, Suki Waterhouse, Emma Chamberlain, and PartyNextDoor join the app as verified talent profiles.
OneOff has raised $4 million in funding from Hermès Family Office, Quiet Capital’s founder Lee Linden, Patron Fund, Matt George, UTA’s chairman Jeremy Zimmer, and WME’s Brad Slater, alongside social media creators.
Sabalenka's on-court efforts are part of her inclusion in OneOff's cross-industry trio. The World No.1 has already won titles in Brisbane, Indian Wells, and Miami, completing the Sunshine Double this year.
It seems the era of the athlete-as-venture-capitalist is fully here, as this is not the only place Sabalenka has become an equity stakeholder.
Aryna Sabalenka's Other Investments
Sabalenka has earned $45 million in career prize money, with $15 million of those coming from last season alone. But that number did not stop her from safeguarding her future further and expanding her investment portfolio across multiple sectors.
In June last year, she invested in a supplement brand, IM8, co-founded by David Beckham, becoming its global brand ambassador and a minority stakeholder after finding its products improved focus and accelerated recovery.
She has also backed US wellness brands Beekeeper’s Naturals and Olipop.
Through these investments, Sabalenka is continuing to chase her dream with five areas of focus: goals, consistency, balance, family, and fashion. So, would you like to see Aryna Sabalenka become the face of one of your favorite brands?
