Angel Reese’s Brother Julian Reese Returns the Favor with Stylish Tribute

Angel Reese's courtside support for her brother Julian's NBA debut was emotional. But Julian had a tribute of his own for his superstar sister, making a statement with his footwear. The sibling bond was on full display during the Washington Wizards game.
He was spotted wearing her signature "Reebok Diamond Dust" sneakers during the game. He also previously used them in his very first NBA game against the Houston Rockets.
He scored nine points, eight rebounds, and three assists in 33 minutes of action, though the Wizards fell to the Magic 126-109.
Julian Reese signed a two-way contract with the Wizards, allowing him to play in the NBA and its G-League affiliate, Capital City Go-Go, as well.
Interestingly, it was Reese's most popular shoe that Julian wore. The Reebok Angel Reese 1 has been one of the hottest-selling sneakers in the market since last September, being the two-time WNBA All-Star's first signature line.
Reebok announced four new colourways set to be dropping in the spring/summer 2026 catalogue, the headliner being called "Unapologetically Angel", which is the same name as her podcast, along with Rose Dust, Gala Green, and Navy Halo.
The sneaker made its debut with three colourways - Mebounds, Receipts Ready, and Diamond Dust, which her brother debuted in. The sneaker also comes in a Baltimore-inspired 'Charm City' colorway, which loosely means homecoming, and a V-Day-ready 'Mauve Reign' look.
Coming back to Julian's time on the court, let's hear from Angel Reese.
What The Debut Meant For Angel Reese
For the Reese family, it wasn't just about getting picked up by an NBA team after time spent in the G-League. The siblings grew up in Baltimore, even attending the University of Maryland together. So being picked up by the Wizards meant a great deal for the family.
During her on-court interview, sporting a Wizards jersey with her brother's No. 15, Reese expressed her pride for her family to have both Baltimore siblings play at the top level of the nation. At one point, Reese was also spotted wiping her tears of joy.
“I was so emotional when I found out, I was crying so hard like I just hit the lottery. I was just so happy because my mom was able to raise me and my brother. We were able to go to Maryland and play in front of our family, but they have a good treat and I’m happy for D.C,” the 23-year-old said.
