Angel Reese Reveals Her WNBA Plan For 2026

Dec 16, 2025, 4:10 PM CUT

Sitting home and watching the WNBA finals might sound like a good idea to fans. But not Angel Reese.

"I wanna be in the finals, just give me the finals", Angel Reese said on the latest episode of her 'Unapologetically Angel' podcast.

Manifesting for 2026

Angel Reese repeated the words 'win win win win'. She's looking to elevate her game, going on her 3rd year in the WNBA. This comes at a time when Reese's offseason is potentially shaping up into a selection for the FIBA 2026 and Olympic 2028 roster.

The Chicago Sky forward still has her contract with the team and is thinking about making a comeback from the previous season, where she missed games due to a back injury and a half-game suspension.

"Basketball-wise, just continue to be great, continue to elevate myself and be a great player, a great person, continue to be an All-Star, break records. Win, win, win, win, win. 2026, I’m looking for the playoffs.”

It seems Angel Reese has her laser focus on just one thing, and that is to be in the finals. Reese will be sitting out Unrivaled season 2, but that does not mean she's not up-to-date with the CBA negotiations and WNBA's rival leagues.

"I think it's really important for this generation, especially for me, in my class, and going forward. I think it's important to be really involved. Everyone on the players' side is very intentional about what we want. And I think the players and the WNBPA have done a great job making sure we're all together," Reese said in a statement.

Averaging 14.7 points in 30 games last season, Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky ended their season with a 10-34.

Do you think the Chicago Sky will be able to manifest Angel Reese's playoff and finals dreams with a No. 5 overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft?
