Weeks after Wendell Carter Jr. hinted at his relationship with Angel Reese, the WNBA star has dropped a cheeky message for him on Instagram.

After the Orlando Magic beat the Denver Nuggets 127-126, Reese dropped an Instagram post with Jodie Woods captioned, “You see why he always winning.”

Reese's support coincided with a major comeback for the Magic, who erased a 14-point halftime deficit. Carter Jr. had a big part to play in that turnaround with 18 points scored. 

This comes on the heels of Carter Jr. addressing rumors of him dating Reese back in November. “We locked in. Y’all gonna find out when y’all need to find out. We’ll just leave it at that. That’s my girl, though. We locked in for sure.” 

Adding to the discussion was a more recent Christmas picture. Reese shared a selfie wearing a necklace featuring the initials “WCJ.”

At the same time, Angel Reese is gunning for the gold in the off-season

Angel Reese attended the Team USA training camp just a few weeks ago, working alongside stars like Caitlin Clark and more. And while there's no official word on the squads, Reese has her sights set on winning.

"All I wanted to do this offseason was play USA basketball. This is what I decided to do, so I'm going to maximise my moment here. They didn't just select us for no reason. They know that we can bring something to the table."

And her eventual target is LA28. As she explained to Olympics.com, "It’s everybody's dream. You want to play for your country. I think 2028 is really important because you get to play in your country and play in LA."
