With Valentine’s Day around the corner, there is no time for slip-ups, and Angel Reese is making sure of that, too.
With just 3 words in her Instagram story, the Chicago Sky star let her boyfriend, Wendell Carter Jr., know everything he needed to hear from her on Rose Day 2026.
Reese's story featured a photo of a massive heart-shaped pink rose bouquet, with a “Will you be my valentine?” ribbon across it. In reply, Reese’s penned, "In every lifetime." And right before that one, there’s another story with four red rose bouquets in the photo.

Most wouldn’t doubt the sender of these. The Bayou Barbie got together with the Orlando Magic Center in 2025. From Carter attending Reese’s 23rd birthday party to Reese attending several Magic games, the reason soon came into the light.
But that’s not all. Another of her stories featured a small Valentine's commercial for Beats by Dre, a brand Reese has collaborated with since her collegiate days. Reese’s caption read, “How could you not drown in my eyes? It’s almost Valentine’s Day. Did you get your BEATS PILL?”
With subtle updates about her personal life and bold brand advertisements, Reese is not missing a chance to let the world know that a WNBA off-season does not mean inactivity.
However, she also posted another story about her recent feat in Australia.
Angel Reese's Rose Dust Debuted in Sydney
On February 4, Reese flew to Sydney to debut her PE Reebok AR1 in Rose Dust Colorway. This version features a muted mauve upper with black detailing. Later on, she continued the promotional tour in Melbourne on February 6.
And today, she also shared a post from Reebok’s official Instagram account. It featured some photos from Reese’s Australia visit. The caption went, “We came. We saw. We fell in love. The future of the game is here – and she wears it well.”
In a nutshell, everything about her stories today connects to Valentine’s Day in one way or another. Her direct replies to Carter Jr. to the PE, which will be released on February 13, the Bayou Barbie made sure to connect all the dots.
With that being said, what do you think about her new PE colorway? Comment down your thoughts.
