On January 22, Caitlin Clark celebrated her 24th birthday, and as expected, tributes poured in from those closest to her. One post, however, stood out, and it was Aliyah Boston’s.

AB shared a collage of photos featuring herself and CC on Instagram, paired with a heartfelt message. While the post itself was touching, one particular photo caught fans’ attention.

And that image was highlighted during the January 28 episode of Post Moves, when Candace Parker asked Boston about the moment behind it.

“She must have been telling me something she saw on the court,” Boston said. “And I’m just looking at her, probably thinking, ‘Girl, I hear you, but do you see the way I’m playing?’ That was probably the next thing out of my mouth.” AB shared after revealing that the moment happened in Atlanta. 

She added, “She probably responded like, ‘It’s fine. You’re good, A.B.’ That sounds about right. That’s us all the time on the basketball court.”

Well, AB specifically chose to post this photo, which feels like the two are arguing about something because she felt it represented the purest version of their basketball relationship. And given AB’s friendship with CC, the moment felt deeply personal.

How Aliyah Boston and Caitlin Clark Connect?

Since being drafted, CC has quickly developed a strong bond with Boston. The two have become one of the most effective duos in the Indiana Fever’s lineup. And this connection goes beyond the stat sheet as it is built on trust and understanding.

Even off the court, the same support continues. In fact, CC has publicly spoken about how valuable AB’s experience has been.

She credits Boston with helping her adjust to life in the WNBA and navigate the transition from college to the pros. And now, AB’s birthday post only adds another layer to that growing bond.
