Aliyah Boston made her loyalties clear this week on the 'Post Moves' podcast this Monday.

This Monday, Aliyah Boston hopped on the Post Moves with co-host Candace Parker and did not hesitate to pick the names of her favourite girls.

Parker asked who Boston’s favourite teammates were. And Boston hit her back with a “Can you guess who they are?” The answer was obvious for the Fever fans, but Parker couldn’t hit the mark. But that was only for the better. Because Boston got the fans totally hyped with the revelation.

“Caitlin (Clark) and Kelsey (Mitchell) – I love those girls. I feel like you could’ve guessed that. Those are my girls, like I love those two so f****** much”, she added, “and I love playing with them, it's crazy, so those are my two”.

And that definitely isn’t a new occurrence. The Fever 7’ has always got Clark and Mitchell’s back. 2025 was marred by injuries for the Indiana Fever. And Clark could play only 13 games. She had to quit the season, but Boston’s support was constant.

“That's our girl (Clark). You know, that's our girl," Boston said, "And I feel like no matter what happened, you have to protect you, and you have to protect your career. There's no reason to force anything. And I feel like her just kind of having that approach of doing what's best for her is all we can ask for."

It was Boston and Mitchell who carried Fever to an all-star selection and the franchise’s first Commissioner’s Cup. Mitchel averaged 20.2 points and 3.4 assists. At the same time, Boston put up 15.0 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. Mitchell reserved a seat in the 2025 All-Star. And none could’ve been a better hype girl than Boston.

However, the Fever fans might not get the big three playing together this season.

As Kelsey Mitchell Enters Free Agency

Mitchell has shown some power moves in the 2025 season, in Clark’s absence. Boston has agreed her all-star nod was absolutely deserving.

“I think when you look at the type of player Kelsey is, our team doesn't function the way it functions without Kelsey. She is such an important part to our team”, she said, “There's no one in the league that can contain Kelsey. Every time Kelsey has the ball, everyone's preparing help-side. And so being able to be a post player, having a guard like Kelsey, it's amazing."

However, her one-year contract with Fever has ended. Fever has agreed that her resignation is a top priority. But there's no official update yet.

That leaves the Indianapolis’ future in a blind spot. She was the key player to carry the team to the playoffs. So not having her on the roster might not end well for the Indiana Fever.

With that being said, should the team bring back Mitchell? What do you think? Write down your thoughts in the comments!
