The Miami Heat’s performance wasn't the only heat in the arena last night, as A'ja Wilson's latest courtside appearance turned heads.

While her fashion drew attention at the Heat game, it is the growing trade rumors linking her and Bam Adebayo to Golden State that have the basketball world talking.

The seven-time WNBA All-Star’s iconic fashion and support for her Miami Heat boyfriend are mostly known.

On February 12, the New Orleans Pelicans lost to the Heat. They made sure to announce Wilson’s courtside presence with an X post.

The caption said, “@_ajawilson22 in the Blender tonight”, with a fitting fire emoji. The Las Vegas Ace Center pulled up in a plain white tee, her signature “22” necklace, and a sleek hairstyle. Her nails and rings also complemented the outfit.

Wilson was seen smiling in the photo, which may have gotten wider after the Heat won 123-111 over the Pelicans. Her boyfriend, Bam Adebayo, scored 27 points and 14 rebounds while playing 37 minutes. The Heat also made 13-of-17 FT shots, the highest in the game.

Wilson's appearance generated significant fan engagement under the team's post on X. One fan replied with fire emojis, while another wrote, “Aja is Major.”

The Wilson-Adebayo pair is one of the well-known couples in this sport. However, there’s a trade rumour going around concerning this couple.

The Golden State Has Eyes on This Couple

Wilson’s contract with the Aces ended in 2025, making her an unrestricted free agent in 2026. While a team change would be a major shift for the Aces star, the possibility exists. Joe Lacob, the owner of Golden State Valkyries and Golden State Warriors, is reportedly targeting Wilson.

On February 10, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints reported it, saying, “Wilson, a four-time WNBA MVP, will be a key free agent target for Lacob and the Valkyries.” And that’s not all. He also reported Lacob’s interest in Adebayo, who is still under a contract with the Heat.

“Adebayo is a player the Warriors have been interested in over the last year … and he still holds a strong relationship with [Jimmy] Butler,” Siegel added. “Adebayo is certainly a player Warriors fans should keep in the back of their mind, especially with Lacob also owning the Golden State Valkyries in the WNBA.”

As per Siegel, the couple’s long-term relationship and fame as a couple will certainly make them the faces of both Golden State franchises. However, it is still a rumour, as neither the players nor their club announced anything.

That being said, what is your take on this rumored trade? Let us know in the comments.
