A'ja Wilson Spotted With Bam Adebayo on Special Night

Not many power couples can say they have four Olympic gold medals between them. But WNBA and NBA stars A'ja Wilson and Bam Adebayo can.
Wilson and Adebayo, both two-time Olympic champions, have become one of sports' most powerful duos. And their latest appearance during the Heat Met Gala on Monday, both looking sharp as ever, proved why fans can't get enough of their romance.
Wilson stunned in a brown bodycon dress, while Bam rocked a classic white suit that screamed timeless cool. But what really grabbed headlines was during their interview when she got asked about giving back to the community. She kept it simple and sweet: "I'm just excited to be his plus 1".
And beyond their personal connection, both athletes share a deep commitment to giving back.
Wilson, during the interview, highlighted the importance of bridging gaps between sport and community. She made it clear that when the “ball stops bouncing, the community will still be there.” Adebayo echoes this sentiment as well.
He added, "It's always good to be able to invest in your community, be able to give back, be able to touch the people, and just be a part of something bigger than yourself". And it is reflected from both of them.
Wilson's A'ja Wilson Foundation fights dyslexia stigma. And also offers camps, workshops, and anti-bullying mentoring to empower kids. She's also helped with the rework of courts at Vegas Boys & Girls Clubs and hosted MV'4 pop-ups celebrating young leaders.
Adebayo also matches her energy with Covenant House drives and Amerant Bank partnerships for Miami youth housing. Also, both of their shared Nike endorsements say it all, turning star power into real community impact.
But this isn't the power couple's first time supporting each other...
Months ago, during Wilson's induction into the SC HoF ceremony, Wilson made everyone's hearts melt when she publicly called Adebayo her boyfriend. For what seemed like the first time, she was so open about it.
"To my boyfriend," Wilson began, then paused as the room filled with laughter and applause. "Even though you went to Ken-yucky, and you went to that royal blue school, thank you for the constant support, always. You weren't there for the young A'ja, but your support has been unwavering up to this point. So, thank you".
Wilson has also opened up about his plans with him. During her TIME cover story last year, Wilson spoke about her "life partner," Adebayo, as well. She opened up about telling the magazine how he's "impacted" her life so much that she questions, "Honestly, what on earth was my world before you?".
And just not that when she reflected on their relationship from four years ago, long before fans began to suspect the two were together last summer, she said they hope to start a family too. "That is always a dream," Wilson told TIME, while adding that Adebayo is also very close with her parents.
Now, as Wilson comes off fresh from a historic 2025 season, and Adebayo continues to excel as Miami's captain, this power couple shows no signs of slowing down. Their relationship proves that when two champions find each other, the result is something even more powerful than one person's glory.
