A’Ja Wilson Sets the Stage for a Major Global Moment

Feb 22, 2026, 10:52 PM CUT

What is a big move that a brand’s signature athlete can make? Nike would say hitting the roads, and that's because one of their ambassadors, A'ja Wilson, will embark on a similar journey.

Nike Basketball took it to X on February 22. The post featured a video where Wilson broke the big news about her first global tour, in her usual style.

“What is going on? Nike always got me doing something”, a seemingly fed-up Wilson complained. To which the producer replied, “It’s for the tour!”

And the rest followed from Wilson, “Oh, we’re taking the show on the road like that? Okay, period! Well, y’all better go ahead and get the tour ready, 'cause I am!” she added.

Nike captioned the post, “The greatest show on court is hitting the road. March 2nd — March 8th.” B/R Kicks was quick to ask the right question: “Is the Nike A’two on the way?” But the point is, Wilson’s Europe tour will round up Paris, Amsterdam, London and Berlin.

Wilson herself shared the news on her Instagram stories, with the same video and a post by brkicks. However, this was probably not a surprise after all, given all the hints she’s been dropping for a while.

A'ja Wilson's Previous Hints and a New A’One Custom

On Feb 18, Wilson posted some training photos on Instagram. And with her feet photoshopped out, she said all she needed to. Later on, Nice Kicks took it to X, writing “A’ja Wilson has started to tease her upcoming Nike A’Two signature shoe”.

While she has not said further about this, a Sole Retriever report sheds some light. “The sneaker will retail for $145, a $30 increase compared to the $115 retail price of the A’One, which means that the technology and construction will be greatly improved”, their article says.

Moreover, Wilson also posted her Nike A’One “Ruby Slippers” customs on February 21. The 7x WNBA All-Star was holding and showing off the PE on camera. Dazzling with red ruby-like design and her signature logo at the back, those are bound to do numbers in sales.

To conclude, Wilson dropped hints, a custom and a global tour update in a stretch of a couple of days. Is she stopping by your city? Let us know in the comments.
